SECTORAL INTERVENTION PLATFORMS

Sectoral Intervention Platforms (SIPS) have the following mandate:

  • Identifying pieces of legislation and/or policies which are barriers to entry and a hindrance to meaningful participation for smaller players within the designated sectors. 
  • Initiating and designing programmes that would have meaningful or substantial impact in the transformation of the designated sectors.
  • Identifying relevant partners and stakeholders who are or would be necessary and key in moving sectoral transformation and/or programmes forward.
  • Initiating, facilitating and coordinating activities (e.g, sectoral seminars, conference, symposiums, etc) that will support and enhance effective execution of the designated mandate.
